		<description>The re-write is not much of an improvement.  For one thing, the word "each" (singular) cannot be followed by "are".  Why not say "The novel follows four six-year-olds, each of whom grows up to be the next character's parent."  At least that's what I think you are trying to say.  And even this could probably be improved on after reading the novel.  Do people actually get paid for such clumsy writing?</description>
