		<description>The re-write is not much of an improvement.  For one thing, the word &quot;each&quot; (singular) cannot be followed by &quot;are&quot;.  Why not say &quot;The novel follows four six-year-olds, each of whom grows up to be the next character&#039;s parent.&quot;  At least that&#039;s what I think you are trying to say.  And even this could probably be improved on after reading the novel.  Do people actually get paid for such clumsy writing?</description>
